"Forest Under Stress" is a short 9-minute film by Rachel Hall, an advocate for the southern Oregon forest and the diminishing annual water supply that adversely affects root systems. It was made in collaboration with her daughter for the specific purpose of bringing greater public awareness for the need to restore "Active Forest Management (AFM)" to our public forests in order to prevent catastrophic wildfires.

The video was released worldwide in 2022 and 2023, selected for 42 separate film festivals, won nine Awards, and received a number of Honorable Mentions. The storyline follows "a forest plagued by drought, where a group of mycelia fungus struggles to provide nutrients and moisture to desperate tree root systems."
